Dalhousie University boasts three main campuses in Halifax and a fourth campus in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. There is also a second medical school campus in Saint John, New Brunswick. Required courses usually include Academic English, Math, and sciences depending on the program​.


For non-native English speakers, demonstrating English proficiency is essential. Acceptable tests include:

●       IELTS: Minimum overall 6.5, no band below 6.0

●       TOEFL: Minimum overall 90, with no less than 20 in each band

●       Duolingo English Test: Overall 115, with no less than 95 in subscores
