When we first met, Çiğdem made the idea of a language school in Toronto, which had seemed difficult to realise until then, possible with the practical options she offered. We decided on the most suitable school both financially and in terms of quality education for our son and made our decision in a very short time. The fact that Hakan was going to stay in Toronto for a long period of 6 weeks made us a little worried. However, Çiğdem and Cem were very helpful from the moment he landed at the airport to the moment of his return, and they did their best to ensure that our son had a good and productive time and returned home happily and did not feel lonely.

C&C Counsulting is the company we contacted after our son B.N.U. decided to study abroad, firstly we evaluated together where he should study abroad, after we decided on Canada, we decided together which university and which department should be. Since the founders of C&C Counsulting live in Canada and Istanbul, they know the education system of both Canada and Turkey very well, so they had an intensive interview process with our son in choosing the university and department, they answered every phone call and e-mail in a short time. Our meeting with C&C was completely by coincidence.
While I was intending to go to the Netherlands, I called them with the advice of a friend and they were in Istanbul again by coincidence.
In our detailed meeting, they shared very clear and clear information about the school with us.
But we learnt from the Dutch experience that the decision to move is not only about the school. Our questions were about real estate, visa procedures and obtaining a residence permit, and they made sure that we contacted reliable people in these matters. I personally thought that I did not have much time, but Cigdem's explanations and my determination made me go to Toronto two weeks later. We stayed in Toronto for a week and on our third day we were able to rent an apartment we really wanted as well as the school we were looking for. Cem and Çiğdem never left us alone, thanks to them we had the chance to get to know the city better, I really thought that the definition of "Life Setter" was very appropriate for them. I understood the importance of someone who helps you to reach reliable and accurate information when you are stepping into a new life by giving up my thought that "I can handle everything". Now I can say that we would not have been able to go to Toronto this year without Cem and Çiğdem. Thank you both for everything.

My meeting with Çiğdem started when we went to Toronto for a university tour. My expectations from the Toronto trip were not much more than touring the campus and visiting some of the main places there. However, meeting Çiğdem Abla through a family friend helped me to spend the rest of our trip more enjoyable and to alleviate my worries about the future. The fact that she was very familiar with the university system in Canada and that she had important acquaintances in universities was one of her privileges. Although I did not have an appointment with the head of the application office at the University of Toronto, she made sure that I met with the person in charge of the application office, which greatly reduced the question marks in my mind. I was also confused when Çiğdem told me that, unlike the counsellors here, it was enough to get a passing grade in the IELTS exam, and that upgrading it would not make much sense in admissions. Because the counsellors in Turkey usually told me that it was important to raise your IELTS score and that just getting a passing grade would not be enough. Later, when I talked to the representatives of many other universities, especially the University of Toronto, I realised that Çiğdem was right. In summary, it was a great chance for me to benefit from her advice and guidance in this process. I recommend everyone who is thinking of studying in Canada to meet Cigdem Abla.

During our first child's US university applications, we received counselling support from well-known experts who have been working in this field for many years. We think that the support was limited to standard guidance and practices. We met dear Çiğdem Koçak during our second child's experience. We are very pleased to have a counsellor whose own child also studied abroad, who has experience in life abroad and in Turkey, who understands the developments in Turkey, family and student expectations. We know how difficult it is for families to make a comprehensive and accurate assessment in this process. C&C makes a difference by knowing the Canadian education system very well, recognising universities and departments, and evaluating student life and life after university. Thanks to C&C Çigdem Abla, who advised me in the best way possible in determining my goal and reaching this goal by walking on the right paths during my last years of high school and during the process of entering McGill University, where I am studying today, I am now at the most suitable university and department for myself. Even if your child has an idea about what he/she wants to study, it is necessary to think much more broadly when it comes to choosing a university. University application times are hard and stressful times, especially when you have supplementary requirements for all different programs you apply for. In my case, I had to have a six piece portfolio, as well as two essays and a resume and my mind was a mess from stress and pressure; everything I made effected my future in the end. That's why I am so glad and lucky to have had Cigdem and Ada by my side to help me. This way, I didn't feel like I was talking to myself and repeating the same ideas over and over again.
